My Story
From an early age, I was captivated by the art of baking and cake decoration. During summer holidays in France, I would find myself peering through the windows of traditional pâtisseries, mesmerised by the beautiful cakes and exquisite tarts on display. I dreamed of one day creating my own delicious treats and, more importantly, bringing people together through the joy of food.
That early inspiration has come full circle with the creation of Baker & Chef, a destination where people can come together, get creative and discover the joy of making delicious, beautiful bakes. My aim is to share my skills, knowledge and passion in a relaxed and inspiring environment, helping others build confidence in the kitchen while having plenty of fun along the way!
My love of cooking and baking naturally led me into the world of hospitality. After completing a degree in Hotel Management, I went on to establish and successfully run my own wedding cake business for more than 10 years. Alongside this, I worked in the retail industry, where I was responsible for organising and delivering large-scale events for a major high-street retailer — experiences that strengthened my passion for bringing people together and creating memorable occasions.
While I’m an enthusiastic home baker at heart, I’ve also continued to develop my professional skills and expertise through a number of industry accreditations. One of my proudest achievements is gaining my intermediate Diplôme de Pâtisserie from the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu in London.
Today, Baker & Chef brings all of these experiences together — my love of food, creativity, hospitality and, above all, people. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced baker looking to learn something new, my goal is simple: to inspire you to get creative, have fun and create something delicious that you can be proud of.

About Us
Welcome to Baker & Chef
Baker & Chef is a fun, relaxed and premium cake decorating studio where creativity takes centre stage!
We pride ourselves on offering a carefully curated programme of seasonal cake decorating and treat making workshops, each personally designed to inspire, teach and — most importantly — be enjoyed. Our workshops are suitable for all levels of experience, whether you’ve never piped before, or you’re a keen home baker looking to take your skills to the next level.
Our philosophy is simple: baking should be fun! We want every workshop to be a memorable experience where you can learn new skills, get creative, meet like-minded people and pick up plenty of tips and tricks along the way. And, of course, you’ll leave with something delicious that you can be proud of!
Our Studio
Our beautiful and spacious studio is located within the revitalised Gasworks business area, just off Belfast’s Ormeau Road. Set within a stunning Grade A listed building in the heart of the city.
We can accommodate up to 18 guests although most workshops cater for about 14, making each one feel personal and relaxed, with plenty of opportunity for hands-on guidance and interaction.
Centrally located, we’re less than a 10-minute walk from the Victoria Square Shopping Centre.

What to bring:
Just yourself! We will provide everything you need; guidance, music, apron, and all the tasty ingredients & tools for your activity!
Parking information
Parking is only available after 6pm on weekdays or anytime over the weekend.
Outside of these hours we recommend the Charlotte Street Car Park, (BT7 1TS), just off Ormeau Avenue. Note, the machines here only take coins. This is a 2 minute walk from the Gasworks, where Baker & Chef is situated.
Alternatively, the Howard Street Car (BT7 1BA), on Howard Street , off Ormeau Rd uses the Ringo App and also has an EV Charging.
Locating The Studio
From Ormeau Road drive through the main gates into the Gasworks. At the first mini roundabout take the left turning on to Cromac Quay. Baker and Chef is situated under the clocktower.
